1. Always Wash your Face in Lukewarm Water
Never use hot showers and baths as it may strip away natural oils from the skin.
2. Exfoliate
Exfoliate your skin regularly as it removes the dead cells on the skin, which tend to be dry and coarse. Use a suitable for your skin type exfoliating mask and use it on your face and your hands, as well as gently on your lips, and neck and then wash with lukewarm water.
3. Keep your Skin Moisturize
Your skin not only needs more moisture in winter season, but you should use moisturiser right after you wash. Applying moisturiser to damp skin helps seal that dampness into the skin. Keep a bottle near the bathtub, shower stall, and use liberally after bath. Use a moisturiser with vitamin E or shea butter.
4. DIY Masks
Homemade masks can provide needed moisture and care in the chilled months of winter. Use natural moisturizing ingredients like almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil. honey, yogurt, and aloe vera. Mix whatever suits your skin type with some rosewater y leave on skin for 10-30 minutes for lasting hydration.
5. My Personal Favourite
This one is one of my grandmom’s secret because of which she always has a flawless and soft skin. Equal parts of glycerine, rose water and a few drops of lemon, make a solution of it and apply every night before sleeping and get fresh and soft skin in the morning.
Great tips! 🙂 thank you for sharing!
