Decoding Deepika Padukone at IIFA’ 16

IIFA 2016, held in Madrid, Spain, saw some amazing fashionistas that descended on the green carpet. The three most popular trends that were spotted at this award event were nude colors, off-shoulder gowns and plunging necklines.

Deepika Padukone is one style icon, who we think, literally nailed it with every look of hers. In this post we try to decode each of her looks at IIFA’16.

Look 1: Deepika looked magnificent in a royal blue colored robe-top and matching pant-set from Chloѐ paired with nude colored pumps from Christian Louboutin. She gave a soft wavy texture to her hair, followed by a very light make-up and accessorizing the plunging neckline of her top with a sleek plunge 2.jpg                [Source: Instagram]

Look 2:  She looked sensuous in a red colored gown by Prabal Gurung, looking excessively hot and sexy [with the thigh-high slit], as well as elegant, all at the same time. She nailed the look by wearing chunky gold danglers from Outhouse, and Gold strappy heels from Giuseppe Zanotti.

Look 3: The next outfit she adorned at IIFA was from the master, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, himself. The outfit was inspired by Spanish bull fighters and included a crop top, a Godet skirt along with a cape. Deepika Padukone styled it along with emerald jewellery, that looked stunning on her.

She wore smokey makeup  with a light pink lip shade that accentuated her look. This time she wore her hair in a tight ponytail, that made sure everyone’s focus was her outfit and the make-up.

Look 4: The next appearance had a stark difference from all her previous looks. She wore a Swapnil Shinde black colored gown, with Farah Khan jewellery and rings from Anmol Jewellers. She looked bold and fierce and took hotness to a whole new level with that plunging neckline. She supported a different updo with the whole look.

Her stylist for all her looks was Shaleena Nathani and hair and make-up done by Daniel Bauer.
